Juana connected the vision of Extension Services that brings the knowledge and research of Institutions of Higher Learning to people and communities with leadership and diversity.

Alpha Chi Omega Sorority is recognizing Juana Bordas with their Award of Achievement - the highest award given to women who have gained recognition in their chosen field of endeavor. Juana is being recognized for her contribution to Ethical Leadership. She was an Alpha Chi at the University of Florida and treasures her sorority days!
Juana keynotes the Multiethnic Advocates for Cultural Competency's (MACC) annual conference on September 23 in Columbus, Ohio. MACC's mission is to bring enhance the quality of health care in Ohio by incorporating cultural competence.
- Juana Bordas and Dr. Maria Valdez will provide leadership and organizational development services to the Inter-American
Development Bank (IABD) in Washington, D.C. September 13- 17.
The inter-American Development Bank (IABD) supports efforts by Latin America and the Caribbean countries to reduce poverty and inequality and to foster development in a sustainable, climate-friendly manner.
- Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers (YHCA) - October 24 -27, 2010
This is Juana's 4th year working with the YHCA in Washington D.C! This dynamic program was created by the Hispanic Association for Corporate Responsibility in 2007. YHCA recognizes young Hispanics in Corporate America who have shown leadership qualities within their respective corporations and have demonstrated a proven commitment to the Hispanic community.
